Eagle Bluff Lighthouse

fish creek, wi

This lighthouse was built in 1868.

At night she is identified by flashing a white light every six seconds from her tower top that is seventy-five feet above sea level.  Her light can be seen from seven miles away but she has an obscured sector that is only visible from the northwest quadrant.

During the day, her square tower structure distinguishes her from nearby Chambers Island light that was built from the same construction plans – but sports a round tower.

Located in beautiful Peninsula State Park, this active aid to navigation sits on the bluffs between Fish Creek and Eagle Harbor.

The lighthouse and park are very special and worth a visit.
